NEUTRAL SMOKEY EYE
Not only is this look an absolute classic, but it's one of our all time faves as well! You can never go wrong with this neutral smokey eye and it's the perfect first date look to wear as it is not too simple but also not dramatic at all. If you aren't too familiar with makeup application, luckily for you this look is very easy to achieve and most eyeshadow palettes on the market these days will include shades very similar to the ones you see in this look.
Zeny's tip: Add a light shimmery colour to the inner corner of your eye. Not only does this give the illusion of brighter and bigger eyes but it also ties the look together.
We cant deny that we always feel a little sexier in a red lip. It's sultry and seductive, bold but simple! Red is an absolute all rounder and suites every single skin tone. If you're wearing a red lip on your first date, try to minimise the amount of product on your eyes as it may wind up looking to dramatic.
Zeny's tip: Make sure you clean up the edges of your lips with a clean brush and a touch of foundation or concealer to sharpen up the bold statement.
The perfect look if you're running short on time. There is something so beautiful about glowing skin! The great thing about this look, is that it requires very little product. The key to creating luminous skin is to make sure you use as many liquid and/or cream products as possible to achieve the most natural looking 'glow from within' look. Add the luminizer to the areas highlighted in the diagram bellow. You'll leave your date mesmerised with that glowing skin of yours.
Zeny's tip: Be sure to use a light hand with the highlighter. There is a difference between a natural glow and a sweaty face. If you're using a powdered product make sure to tap off any excess product.
SEAL THE DEAL
Setting spray is an absolute must have as it will extend the life of your perfect creation. Ensure your glowing skin and statement lips stay in place all day. Setting sprays can often prevent any makeup mishaps and also provide other benefits such as hydration and oil control.
Zeny's tip: Intensify any powder with your setting spray. Mist some onto your brush before dipping it into your eyeshadow or highlight to amp up the product.
